About flow

Flow is an in-person & online coaching practice in Berkshire supporting people who are childless by circumstance to reconnect with their identity, regain clarity, and move forward with purpose in their new chapter.

Many of us have grown up imagining we’ll be parents someday. After all, it’s written in the social blueprint; build a career, meet the right partner, get married, have kids, grandkids, retire, the end.

But what happens when life doesn’t work out that way?

What if you’ve experienced pregnancy loss or infertility? Maybe you haven’t met the right partner yet. Or maybe you’ve found the right person but conceiving a child together isn’t possible for other reasons.

The circumstances leading here can be different for each of us, but one of the experiences we all have in common is loss.

Beyond the loss of planned parenthood and the joys we imagined coming with it, there’s often a loss of identity, of purpose, of direction.

We might find ourselves wondering: Who am I now? What’s important to me?

What’s next…?

Finding your flow in a new chapter

The prospect of answering these questions and rewriting the next chapter can feel daunting. Believe me, I know from my own experience. I also know it can also be exciting and full of opportunity if you let it!

Those things you might have put on pause, or not done at all, can have your attention now.

A new job, maybe an entirely new career, perhaps learning something new or living abroad…

And those thoughts of I’d love to do this or I wish I’d done that that we previously dismissed can become invitations to try. Why not?

What has to happen in your life now for you to consider it well-lived, with few or no regrets?

Through in-person or online coaching, together we can help you figure that out.

How coaching with flow can help

Starting with getting grounded in what makes you you, we’ll explore what’s most important to you now and what you want from your new chapter.

Once you’re feeling clearer on this, we can look at how to get there, considering what might be standing in the way of you having or doing this now. Could it be time, energy, resources, knowledge, self-belief?

And because we know that life doesn’t always go according to plan, we may also think about how to build resilience to potential challenges and put in place contingencies to help things stay on track.

The path forward is entirely your own and dependent on the steps you decide to take. You set the direction, the pace, and by walking you make the path.

As your Coach I am here as your sounding board and your thinking partner, helping you to see things from different perspectives and consider the possible routes to getting there.

After all, as the saying goes, all roads lead to Rome! The most important thing is getting there and enjoying it along the way.

A coaching approach founded on lived experience

Hello, I’m Kasia. Coach, founder and fellow ‘unplanned non-parent’. After several years of trying to conceive - first naturally, then through IVF - I too had to face into the reality of childlessness and find acceptance. The journey here was full of twists, turns, uncertainty and sometimes stuckness. But eventually I found myself and my flow again.
